Windhorse has developed a specialist AAV (Autonomous Arial Vehicle) called POUNCER™ that can be filled with an appropriate cargo (food, medicine, etc) then transported to any disaster area to fly independently to its pre-planned destination. It can then land accurately to within 7m, avoiding all infrastructure problems, saving time, money and more importantly lives while avoiding corruption or hostile groups on the ground. It is an added tool in the arsenal of lifesaving for natural or manmade disaster zones. We are fundraising at present to deliver an end to end production and distribution proposition for the POUNCER™ that will see us testing the AAV in the first quarter of 2017, then work to production after.
