Windmill Wellness Ranch is recognized by the State of Texas as a COSPD (co-occurring psychiatric disorders) inpatient and outpatient treatment center specializing in trauma therapies, substance use disorders and mental health serving patients from all over the United States. Windmill Wellness Ranch is also the only substance use disorder facility using iTMS™ technology to heal the brain located on site at our Brain Frequency Center. In May of 2017, Shannon Malish opened Windmill Wellness Ranch, believing that a holistic approach to recovery is necessary for a client’s growth and complete healing. The programs offered at Windmill Wellness Ranch and the patient’s experience are her passion. Because of Shannon's background, she has vast knowledge and experience in leading and directing co-occurring, substance-use-disorder treatment facilities. This experience evolved to research that proved what is needed to sustain long-term recovery. Because of this research, we now have methods for treatment to address underlying issues with therapy instead of relying on a "band-aid" fix. Shannon found that a fraction of patients were still relapsing despite all therapeutic efforts. She saw where the “band-aid treatment” did not work and, thus, it was time for evidence based and researched treatment. In order to heal the body, mind and spirit it requires specialty and highly educated staff trained to deal with the core issue, which is never the substance that is being abused. Windmill Wellness Ranch staffs Master’s Level clinicians in order to achieve long-term treatment success. Fortunately, we are making a huge difference here at Windmill Wellness Center. The mission of Windmill Wellness Ranch is to improve the physical, spiritual and emotional health of the individual and their family through an integrated healing system using the latest technology including iTMS™, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), intensive therapy, group support, nursing, and psychiatry.
