Winter Satellite Workshop

Winter Satellite Workshop is the leading New Space event in Finland, Scandinavia and the Baltic region. It combines multiple space-focused gatherings, including FinCOSPAR and Remote Sensing Days, into one vibrant forum for collaboration and knowledge exchange. The workshop brings together space technology experts, scientists and students to explore emerging topics in the rapidly evolving space sector. Its scope covers New Space developments, small satellite missions and platforms, space science and instrumentation, Earth observation and the sustainable use of space. Founded in 2018, the Workshop is a community-driven event technically organized by Aalto University’s Space Technology Research Group, with contributions from governmental agencies, institutes, companies and student organizations.
