Wired BioHealth™: Supporting Mental Health Parity Through Objectivity. Addiction and mental health are multifaceted. In fact, addiction is a complex disease comprised of biological, psychological, and social factors. Although many providers excel at the psychological and social aspects of recovery, they simply lack access to the biological tools. This lack of access to equitable tools correlates to the woefully poor outcomes associated with addiction and mental health treatment. At Wired BioHealth™, we specialize in the biological component of behavioral health and provide our services to addiction and behavioral health clinicians, attorneys and judges within the criminal justice system, diversion courts, employee assistance programs, academic institutions, lawmakers, and individuals. Since 2006, our company's continued research and application methodology has poised us as a global leader in the science of behavioral health optimization. Members of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals, the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys Corrections Committee, and our strategic partnership with the Former United States Drug Czar and former Director of the DEA has continued to expand the reach of our services with an aim to improve the lives of those living with mental health complexities, including addiction. Utilizing the Wired BioHealth™ custom panel, we identify, isolate, and measure specific biomarkers highly correlated to substance use disorders, process addiction, and mental health conditions. Objectively measuring an individual’s physiology quantifies mental health and provides clinicians with equitable tools to better treat their patients. Similarly, the objective data allows judges to provide treatment centric rather than punishment centric sentences for individuals suffering from mental health complexities.
