Welcome to the Wireless and Mobile Communications Research Group at the University of Peloponnese. Established in 2002, our work draws on a rich legacy of pioneering European R&D since the early 1990s, focuses on advancing 5G-6G technologies and deploying smart wireless networks enhanced with sensors and drones for various applications. Equipped with the latest in wireless network and system measurement equipment, EMF testing equipment, and drones, our facility supports an array of research and development activities aimed at pushing the boundaries of wireless and mobile communications, driving innovations for a smarter, more connected future. Our faculty members are leaders in the field, ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally. They have contributed over 275 international publications and hold 18 patents, illustrating our lab’s significant impact on telecommunications.
