Wistrand is specialized in chemical cleaning and pickling of the 'water side' of large recovery boilers and power boilers. Our customers are scattered throughout the world and consist mainly of actors in the pulp and paper industry, power plants, refineries and pharmaceutical industry — all with very high quality demands. Wistrand also work with chemical cleaning of other types of boilers, heat exchangers, piping systems and tanks. Wistrand's vast experience in chemical cleaning means that we always complete our projects within set time frames and always meet our customers cleaning targets — without sacrificing either safety or environmental impact. For you as a customer, this means that you minimise the downtime of your equipment and maximises the utilisation of your system — as well as achieving the highest possible quality of for example your steam. In short, Wistrand perform three different services- Chemical cleaning - Pre operational chemical cleaning, also know as pickling - Feed water and steam related consultancy services Wistrand consists of two different companies, Ingenjörsfirman Hans Wistrand AB, active in the Nordic countries, and Wistrand Engineering AB, active outside of the Nordic region. Both are collectively refereed to simply as Wistrand.
