Wk Foundation

WK Foundation provides training, employment and community to some of the most disadvantaged young people in London. We use hospitality training, focussed on sustainable food creation and service as a tool to take young people on a journey to employability and independence, equipping them with transferable skills for the working world. Together with gaining skills within hospitality, we focus on food sourcing and provenance which provides an essential nature connection, which many of our young people have never experienced. Our programme is carried out over a period of 6-12 months and combines on the ground practical skills, with employabilty skills, and off-site learning with our partner growers and farms. We are aiming to pilot our first internship under the WK Foundation banner in 2024, and are currently fundraising.
