Welcome to WMEN. We’re an Australian fashion label and community of female artisans designing and creating sustainable clothing and accessories for women of purpose, confidence and style. We work with Australian female artists to design exclusive prints that celebrate our precious and diverse environment, and we employ skilled third-generation Indian weavers and artisans to turn those prints into resort inspired apparel and jewellery. Our mission is to empower women to design, create and wear apparel that has lasting appeal. We design clothes and accessories that elevate, inspire and make a statement - in more ways than one. Why do we do all of this? So that we can bring you the most luxurious, hand-crafted and socially-responsible clothing possible, made by women for women. Sustainability It’s time we created more consciously and responsibly. After all, Mother Nature is our original - and ultimate - woman. We want to treat her with the care and respect she deserves, which is why we use only 100% authentic Indian silk - a natural, breathable, luxurious and biodegradable textile. All our pieces are hand-washable in cold water. Our current collection, Reef Revival, aims to highlight the beauty and fragility of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. We hope to make a small but vital impact on our collective appreciation for this precious ecosystem, and to inspire action towards saving it from extinction. Collaborations We work with some of Australia’s most talented visual artists to bring you our silk accessories and apparel. Our current collaborators include Lorena Gonzalez, Saloni Chavda, Anjana Jain and Christina Inserra. We believe in providing a platform for female creatives to express their vision.
