Wohnmobilland Schweiz ist ein Verein nach Art. 60 ff, ZGB. Er setzt sich für mehr Wohnmobilstellplätze und eine verbesserte Infrastruktur ein. Er unterstützt Private bei der Umsetzung solcher Projekte und berät Gemeinden und Körperschaften bei der Realisierung von Stellplätzen und Entsorgungsstationen. Mit seinem Engagement möchte Wohnmobilland Schweiz einen Beitrag zur geordneten Entwicklung des Campingbooms leisten. Ziel ist es, Gemeinden dazu zu bewegen, Wohnmobilreisenden attraktive Plätze zur Verfügung zu stellen, auf denen umweltgerecht und legal über-nachtet werden und so die Problematik des Wildcampierens eingeschränkt werden kann.
