Drafted pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, settlement documents and releases, client status reports, case evaluations, coverage opinions, reservation of rights, and denial letters. Performed legal research and prepared and responded to motions and briefs regarding various complex legal issues. Conducted and attended depositions of parties, fact witnesses, treating physicians, and experts; and interviewed and prepared clients and witnesses for deposition testimony. Assigned files and delegated research directly to associates while also managing and overseeing files assigned by the principal to the firm’s new associates.
