Wolverhampton Swimming Club

Wolverhampton Swimming Club is one of the oldest Sports Clubs in Wolverhampton and over the years has produced some exceptional swimmers who have competed at the highest level. In 2006 WSC commenced training sessions at Central Baths which has enabled us to move forward and develop a vision to create a strong competitive club. The Club holds training sessions every weekday evening and Saturday morning at Central Baths and also utilises Colton Hills School 6 lane pool twice weekly, plus Aldersley High School 6 lane pool once a week. Due to the amount of pooltime and lane space available WSC has been able to develop a Performance Group whose focus is to achieve Regional and National Qualifying times. These swimmers will soon be able to access 15 hours per week with the addition of two morning sessions. The development and progression of the Club has been made possible by the support of the City of Wolverhampton Leisure Services Dept. and the hard work of Poolside Staff and Committee Members.
