Wonderful Escapes at Wern-y-Cwm Farm This Grade II listed farmstead with 30 acres of private land offers the incredible Great Barn, huge Farmhouse, extensive Dairy, and cosy Cider House. Situated on the Skirrid Mountain with far-reaching views and stunning gardens, it is just a few minutes’ drive from Abergavenny train station, an easy 2.5 hours journey from London or Manchester. A labour of love restoration, each building has been extensively renovated whilst retaining their original features dating back to 1570. Wood burning stoves and eco heating make for warm & cosy autumn or winter stays and the wildflowers and gardens are beyond compare in the spring & summer. The cathedral sized Great Barn offers entertainment and activity space for meals, events or yoga. The gardens include a natural swimming pool, breakout greenhouse, sauna and treatment room, all adding up to the perfect location for a truly Mindful Business Retreat. Each property is self contained with large private gardens, outdoor seating, hot tubs and totally independent facilities. They may be booked individually for smaller groups or together for a bigger gathering or event. We are happy to help advise you on how to make your stay special, from offering a fully managed retreat, party or event, to permitting self-catering and self-managed rental. We welcome Business Groups, Yoga Retreats, Creative Retreats, Cycling & Walking holidays, family and friends gatherings. We regret we do not accept weddings.
