Woodshop 51

Woodshop 51 is a proper home grown business. I started in April 2020 from my garden shed, with a couple of Ash off-cuts, a jigsaw and a couple of sheets of sand paper. I made two serving boards as gifts for my mother and sister. They loved ‘em and an idea started to take hold…. During lock-down I started to plan, test ideas, sharpen my tools and as soon as restrictions started to lift I searched for local sustainable sources hardwoods from which I could create properly individual weird and wonderfully shaped serving and chopping boards that can’t be made in a factory. I try to make every piece unique using the structure and form of the timber. I sell what I make directly through local artisan markets and on-line.
