Work Room Four

Work Room Four is a Hanoi based multidisciplinary art and design studio/gallery with a focus on creative collaboration and a passion to push boundaries and share new perspectives within the rapidly expanding artistic, social and commercial climate of contemporary Vietnam. Founded in 2013 we have worked hard to become an integral part of the Vietnamese creative landscape. Collaborating with international and local artists and designers, we look for innovative ways to solve art and design problems, communicate ideas and connect with our community; incorporating an educational approach in all aspects of our work. We design, we curate, we organise and communicate. From exhibition curation and organisation to branding and product development; we think there is a need for more creativity in working and living, our belief is art makes us appreciate complexity, simplicity and humanity. We understand good design to be accessible, empathetic and enabling, and 15 years in Design Education has taught us to be learners first. Using iterative design processes with an emphasis on empathetic design thinking, we have a flexible human-centred approach to our commercial design work, and strive to realise innovative, creative, client led solutions. The Work Room Four vision is to improve the quality of creative life in Vietnam and beyond for makers, creators and organisations through our innovative approach encompassing design, education and art. Work Room Four aims to provide the space, resources and support to develop networks and partnerships that will nurture talent and enthusiasm for design, education and contemporary art. We are designers, artists, we are eternal students and we love being part of any creative endeavour. Our hope and our goal: Create Something New.
