Since its inception in 1987 in Sweden, more than 3 million people with disabilities have been engaged in work programs delivered by WI member organisations in more than 40 countries. In all that it does WI seeks to establish the highest possible standards internationally in the delivery of work programs and support for people with disabilities. Our Vision: Equity in employment for people with disabilities everywhere Our Mission: WI’s primary aim and purpose is to champion the right to work of any person who has a disability, or is otherwise marginalised in a global context.
