Workers Transport
Beginning in 2016, Workers Transport, a worker-owned cooperative, has been operating and expanding Stony Brook University's student Bikeshare in New York. In 2019 Workers Transport launched Bed Stuy Bikes, a bike repair and maintenance shop in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. Workers Transport is also launching the first cooperatively operated bike mechanic trade school and job placement program in 2024. We strive to provide the best services in the industry, while connecting the bike world to the larger labor movement in New York.
