Working Warriors is committed to helping all veterans make the successful transition from military life to a good paying job. In 2011, PowerBand Consulting Group, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) created the Working Warriors program. Recognizing the need to help returning veterans, Powerband made the decision to build on their successful history of sourcing jobs for Federal contractors and commercial businesses to create a new vision of providing veterans job placement services. The Working Warriors program provides a unique approach to helping veterans find employment. Each veteran is paired with a certified veteran recruiter who will help the veteran translate their MOS into a highly sellable resume. In fact, many employers who work with the Working Warriors program are veterans and are more interested in a veteran’s MOS than their resume. As a Veteran owned business, Powerband is passionate in its commitment to serve veterans and their families during their transition to civilian life. Most importantly, the Working Warriors program has only one focus: VETERANS.
