Workplace Ear Care

We’re bringing Hearing Health to the workplace and changing the narrative around Hearing Loss. We are normalising preventative hearing checks as we believe hearing health deserves the same attention as eye and dental checks. Our work ensures working adults feel seen, supported and empowered to proactively care for their hearing. We bridge the gap between those with hearing loss and those without, through education, support and accessible hearing checks. Some hearing changes can happen naturally (whilst others are preventable!) and can occur during working life not just in ‘old age’. More than half of those 55+ have a hearing loss and yet workplaces rarely support this proactively. Education needs to be provided to all employees of all ages to help understand how we can look after our own hearing, and how we can support those around us with a hearing loss. Unknown and untreated hearing loss can have such an impact on communication at work, productivity and employee retention. But many workplaces don’t realise this, and hearing loss and hearing health continues to be a subject that is ignored. Our other Co-Founder, Dave, has a background working in Corporate, and has seen over the years the lack of support given to those who are struggling with hearing loss within the workplace. As husband and wife, we understand how important our hearing health is, and how there is space and a need to implement this into the workplace.
