World ORT Kadima Mada works to educate future generations towards coping with the ever-changing challenges of academia and employment through the initiation, development and implementation of innovative pedagogical programs that integrate advanced education technologies from Israel and abroad in the country’s formal and informal education systems. World ORT Kadima Mada is the representative in Israel of the international educational organization World ORT that has been in operation since 1880 and active in over 50 countries in advancing science and technology education. Sporting the motto ‘educating for life’, World ORT Kadima Mada perceives science and technology education as a means towards the acquisition of tools for financial independence, which serves as the main gap-reducing bridge between the center, the periphery and Israel’s varied populations. World ORT Kadima Mada aims to prepare tomorrow’s generation for the future challenges of the constantly changing world of work and academia. The organization sees science and technology as the key to a strong Israel and the enhancement of science and technology studies in Israel’s education system as critical for Israel’s future development. World ORT Kadima Mada advances science and technology through initiating, developing and implementing innovative pedagogical programs. Novel approaches that integrate advanced educational technologies from Israel and abroad are introduced into Israel’s formal and informal education systems. The organization works in collaboration with government bodies such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry for the Development of the Negev and Galilee, Ministry of Science, Technology and Space and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services, as well as with local authorities, academia and other entities in both the non-profit and industrial sectors.
