Our strategy is directly working to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in 6 crucial areas; mother and child health, economic empowerment, water, education, child protection and food and agriculture. We give a hand up, not a handout and when we are no longer needed we leave a strong, skilled community to carve out their own future. World Vision Ireland’s long-term development work focuses on 5 Area Development Programmes (ADPs) in three African countries - Mauritania, Tanzania, and Uganda.
