manGallery is a an initiative in creating and experimenting with new art spaces, at the center of Tehran. For the past year, gallery has showcased numerous fine art exhibitions as well as art call-outs and events. The gallery aims to provide room for newer ideas and explore different ways art can be organized and presented. The term, man, means “i” in Persian and it designates the artists relation to the space (iGallery). The Gallery aims to become a hub of art activity and support a burgeoning community of artists. We are interested in exploring dichotomies such as east and west, inside and outside, old and new, and most importantly today and tomorrow. The gallery will discover and introduce emerging talent and increase art appreciation by providing access to contemporary art projects and events. Believing in the importance of expression and exchange, the gallery provides various venues to many contrasting ideas and a wide range of practices that includes conceptual art and performance art as well as fine art.
