Worcester Polytechnic Institute EMS (WPI EMS) has been proudly serving WPI since 1975. We are a student-run organization that provides emergency care for on-campus emergencies and events. As a subdivision of the WPI Police Department, we serve the community during medical emergencies, coordinating communication, treatment, and transport of patients. All members maintain a Basic Life Support CPR certification and an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification. We strive to build a strong WPI community and provide support for students interested in medical and public safety fields.
