WritingLaw is a neat, clean website that offers Bare Acts, important Law Notes, excellent Law MCQ Tests, and daily important Law News in a few sentences. The journey began in March 2018. I (Ankur Thakur) am a law graduate. When I used to visit Bare Act websites during my college, they all had an old or unfriendly design. Thus, in my final year, I started WritingLaw solely with the purpose of making Bare Acts appear colourful, friendly, unfrightening, and enjoyable. I started with the six most essential law subjects - Constitution of India, Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code, Indian Evidence Act, and Indian Contract Act. Over time several other Acts were added. Later, I started publishing short, easy-to-understand law notes on important topics. These are not too long or complicated. In June 2020, WritingLaw launched its flagship and the most loved and requested project - Law MCQ Tests. I started with two mixed MCQ Tests priced at Rs. 50 each. Today, there are around three dozen MCQ Tests. In the last week of November 2020, WritingLaw introduced daily Law News in just a few sentences. Readers love it. Overall, the journey has been a good one. Students, advocates, judges, and people interested in the legal field adore the Law PDFs and the MCQ Tests. WritingLaw is glad to do its small bit.
