The Würth Group is a world market leader in its core business, the trade in assembly and fastening material. It currently consists of over 400 companies in more than 80 countries and has over employees on its payroll. According to the Financial Statement, the Würth Group generated total sales of EUR 20.2 billion in the 2024 fiscal year. In the core business, the Würth Line, the product range for craft and industry comprises over products: From screws, screw accessories and anchors to tools, chemical-technical products and personal protection equipment. The Allied Companies of the Würth Group, which either operate in business areas adjacent to the core business or in diversified business areas, round off the range by offering products for DIY stores, material for electrical installations, electronic components (e.g. circuit boards) as well as financial services. Würth is a family business that was founded by Adolf Würth in 1945. Starting from the early years of the company in post-war Germany, Prof. Reinhold Würth turned the former two-man business into a worldwide operating trading group. Würth (China) Holding Co, Ltd.(CN-Holding) is not only managing the cash pool and banking but is supporting corporate housekeeping & governance. With its shared service support in back-office areas with a professional team of more than 40 employees, CN-Holding is located in Shanghai. The main support areas are finance, treasury, human resources, tax, legal consultation, insurance, participations and compliance. Furthermore, CN-Holding is as a bridge between the Group Headquarters and the various Würth Group companies in China, ensuring good communication and information flow. In 2019, CN-Holding regionally assumed responsibility for Group Compliance in Asia-Pacific. In 2020, CN-Holding established the Würth Business Academy Asia Pacific to support talent development in the region.
