WWF-Korea was established in March 2014, and has recruited a supporter base of members in its first year. WWF-Korea has implemented many activities including Earth Hour, the Earth Hour City Challenge promoting sustainable cities, the 1600 Pandas+ Exhibition, and the launch of the “Living Planet Report 2014”, translated in Korean for the first time. WWF-Korea is also active in promoting sustainable fisheries, working with Korean fisheries industry leaders and promoting sustainable seafood, including fisheries certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC).
