Wyke Stores is a convenience store providing local food easily & fairly. Easy: We want to make it easy for Customers to shop with us in preference to supermarkets by: Offering as broad a range of products and services, & appealing to as many types of customer, as we possibly can; Making these products & services available to buy in as many ways as possible, in addition to personal visits to the shop; Providing facilities so you can walk, cycle, push a buggy or even skateboard to us. Local: We want to be local in every sense of the word. First & foremost we will be local to the Wyke Regis community, however we will also try to: Source as many of our products & services from local suppliers as we can. Predominantly this will be the food that we sell to you but will also include other suppliers that help us run as a business; Take part in community activities & employ local people to work in our shop; Encourage our customers, suppliers & staff to use local suppliers themselves. Fair: As a business we don’t simply want to know the price of everything & the value of nothing. Whilst we want to run an efficient & successful business, we also want to: Be fair to you on the price of our products & services; Be fair to staff, suppliers & producers by paying them fairly; Be fair to the environment by minimising our environmental impact, operating in a sustainable manner & encouraging & enabling others to do the same.
