Wyrd Miniatures was founded in 2005 as a miniatures company focused on creating cool minis for painters. After a few years, the miniatures skirmish game, Malifaux, was created, and Wyrd officially became a game manufacturer. Wyrd's innovation in the game industry can be seen by it's miniatures card-based mechanic, the inexpensive terrain system, and the high-quality plastic miniatures with dynamic poses that are revolutionizing the miniatures industry. Wyrd has gone beyond the game Malifaux to develop The Other Side, Through The Breach, Puppet Wars, Evil Baby Orphanage (with cooperation from the Vlog Brothers), Jet Pack Unicorn, and several other games.
