Wyss & Lila is a Swiss-headquartered asset lifecycle partner based in Zug. We combine rolling-stock engineering, maintenance and rail infrastructure design to improve performance across the full lifecycle. From concept and modernisation to high availability in daily operation. We support locomotives, coaches, EMUs/DMUs, metros, trams/LRVs, and special-purpose vehicles (OTMs and shunting fleets). We take end-to-end responsibility for luxury platforms and modernisation programmes. This includes high-end hospitality and luxury train projects where passenger experience and engineering execution must work seamlessly as one. For operational fleets, we cover concept, design and system integration through testing, approval support and handover into service. Our engineering scope spans mechanical and electrical design, requirements management, verification and validation, system integration, TCMS and digitalisation, technical documentation, interface and project management, plus RAMS and lifecycle cost optimisation. As ECM (Functions 1–4), we provide maintenance engineering, commissioning and in-service support, mobile teams and 24/7 technical assistance - backed by our workshop network across Germany, Italy and the Balkans and experience with platforms such as Siemens Vectron, Taurus, Alstom TRAXX, EMU/DMUs from Stadler Rail, Pesa, Siemens, trams from Bombardier and OTMs. Through our daughter D&I (Design & Infrastructure), we plan and design rail corridors, yards, and station interfaces, coordinate civil and structural works, and align track and layout with power, signalling, and communications, supported by BIM-based coordination from feasibility to consturction delivery. Our offices operate in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Serbia, Croatia, and the UAE. We can deliver over hours and are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EN 15085-2 and ECM (EU) 2019/779, and VPI.
