Wyvern Resilience

Wyvern Resilience uses various adventure activities to provide physical and mental resilience education for veterans. Participants work with mentors who demonstrate proven science-based wellbeing tools. The moderately stressful activities are designed to strongly encourage the use and practice of the resilience tools that are provided by the mentors. Repeated management of the stress of the activity encourages the development of a resilient mindset and fosters healthy living habits. Program participants are encouraged to maintain links with mentors and fellow participants through sponsored club activities. Club activities promote a sense of purpose and reiterate the importance of consistently utilising the tools demonstrated in the programs. The adventure activities are challenging but enjoyable and provide on-going engagement with a positively-focused veteran community.
