Xiangshan Global Studios

Located in Ningbo Screen Industrial Park, the Xiangshan Global Studios cover an area of about m2, or 180 acres with a capital investment of approximately 790 million RMB, 118 million USD to date. Our Backlot exterior include Spring Autumn/Warring States, Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty & Republic of China. Since opening in 2005, we have received more than 14 million visitors and film and television productions. We are working towards making the Xiangshan Global Studios a true “Oriental Hollywood”. We are the first full-scale production studio and theme park in China. There are five zones divided by function Traditional Town, Fantasy World, Filming Area, Wuxia World, and Republican-Style Town, which could be the set for scenes throughout the Chinese history. Zhang Jizhong, Chen Kaige, Luc Besson, Gao Xixi, Bruce Willis, Nicholas Tse, Huang Xiaoming, Liu Yifei, Chen Daoming, Hu Ge and many other celebrities have worked on the studio lot. In the future, Xiangshan Global Studios will continue to establish a development strategy of “three in one” with tourism, production and brand culture collectively. Our goal is to provide world class services to the people we serve. Xiangshan Global Studios will become a national film base, key scenery spot at Yangtze River delta, a new special event destination, Cultural Upgrade Demonstration Zone in Ningbo and the new engine of urban development in central Xiangshan by having digital production, both domestic and international. The future of Xiangshan Global Studios is paving the way to become a destination of production and tourism in the coastal region.
