Yakusha Studio

YAKUSHA is a multidisciplinary studio founded by Ukrainian architect Viktoria Yakusha in 2006. Working internationally with residential and commercial clients, Yakusha centers its approach around the philosophy of 'living design'. Minimalist, yet sensual spaces are created in the tight connection with nature and start with the freedom — inner and outer. In 2014, as a reflection of the strong social-cultural changes in Ukraine, Victoria Yakusha established FAINA — a collection of furniture and décor. Ancestral, primitive, intuitive — FAINA pieces take roots in ancient craft traditions and represent modern Ukrainian design. In 2018 brand launched the design expedition “Land inspires”, a unique project aimed to draw attention to the rich cultural heritage of Ukraine. In 2019, an interior project of Yakusha Design was selected among the 5 best offices in the world (Dezeen Awards), and the studio’s founder Victoria Yakusha gained the title of the designer of the year (ELLE Decoration Design Award).
