About Us: YALI is an acronym of Young African Leaders Initiative, It is a signature effort of the United States of America to invest in the next generation of African leaders. YALI was founded in 2014 and launched by President Barack Obama. Yali provides in-person and online training throughout the year in business and entrepreneurship, civic leadership and public management; as well extensive opportunities for professional development and networking. It had subsidiary structures across the States of Countries in Africa. Yali Network Sokoto is one of the most active hubs in Nigeria with an organised structure and had over 200 members comprising of young leaders and relevant resource persons in the community. Our activities are supported by the US embassy, Nigeria. We are committed to creating impact in the areas of youths empowerment; capacity development, mentorship as well promoting volunteerism among youths. We also create awareness on issues affecting the communityincluding but not limitted to Climate Change, Fake dessimination of information, Community Outreach to IDPs for relief donations and medical support.
