Yaqumo Inc. is a deep-tech startup founded in 2025 to develop large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers. Born from the combined world-class research of Kyoto University (Prof. Takahashi) and the Institute for Molecular Science (Prof. Ohmori), we aim to solve complex problems in materials science and finance that are impossible for conventional computers. Our Technology & Strengths We focus on the "Neutral Atom"(Cold Atom) approach, utilizing Ytterbium atoms. This groundbreaking method is widely recognized as the key to overcoming scalability and error-correction hurdles. Leveraging foundational technologies from the Japanese Cabinet Office’s "Moonshot Program," our unique dual-isotope technology enables high-precision computation and error detection, controlled by advanced optical tweezer arrays. Our Vision Yaqumo is committed to realizing practical, domestically produced quantum hardware. We are actively collaborating with industrial partners to bring the era of fault-tolerant quantum computing to reality.
