Yellow Flag Programme
The Yellow Flag Programme is an 8-step programme that guides schools in becoming more inclusive of all ethnicities, cultures and religions. It is the only innovative programme of its kind in Ireland to take a whole-school approach to tackling racism on both a social and institutional level. The Yellow Flag Programme was founded in 2009 by the Irish Traveller Movement to improve educational outcomes for Traveller students, but has since been adapted to have a multi-ethnic approach, most recently securing funding from the European Commission's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) to welcome refugee students. Check out our website for more information on the 8-step framework, and for learning resources.
