The Yellowstone Trail Association is a membership organization to promote and research the 1912-1930 named auto highway, the Yellowstone Trail (YT), which ran from Seattle to Boston. The YT was one of a very few transcontinental highways during the period when automobiles were just beginning their impact on society. One of the more important "competitors" was the Lincoln Highway.
