We are a marine ingredient start-up, dedicated to exploring microalgae and its virtues inside-out for the nutraceutical, cosmetics and alternative meat and cell-based meat segments bringing the compelling value of Earth’s original super crop to the world. We operate a cutting-edge, photobioreactor powered system for cultivating microalgae bio compounds giving companies access to standardized high value microalgae of any variety at any desired scale- Yemoja provides cosmetic formulators and brands a consistent supply of pure microalgae. Our external polysaccharide sulphate species serves the skin -deep sector and is in high demand by the industry for its natural anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and rejuvenating properties. We have developed the industry first microalgae- sourced heme substitute for plant-based burgers that is currently undergoing pilot trials. This formulation mimics the red juices of real meat without harming cows or the planet and without the need for artificial colors additives and is 100% clean label. Our state-of-the-art indoor cultivation facility is the gold standard in climate management and sustainability. In built with sophisticated precision biology engineering methods, the platform system manipulates light, temperature, and pH to yield high concentrations of desired bioactive compounds with minimal ecologic footprint and without contaminants, using minimal resources, and reduces waste. Yemoja was founded by a team of marine biology and biotech experts with a shared vision of leveraging novel engineering methods to provide the commercial microalgae space with a prodigious range of high-value microalgae species that can be tailored to a full spectrum of applications, including cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals and functional foods.
