Yennenga Center

Based in Grand Dakar, the Yennenga Center is the first cultural center dedicated to cinema in Senegal. Created in 2018 at the initiative of Alain Gomis, a French-Senegalese director who has received several international awards, Its missions focus on film creation, broadcasting and training. The Yennenga Center is a place open to all and for all, a laboratory of creativity, discoveries of African cinemas and meetings. From September 2021 the Yennenga Center begins its training program in image editing, sound editing, mixing and colour grading. Twenty four young women and men from the continent, with an early experiences, will receive for free, professional training for two years. The call for applications will be communicated on our social networks in June.
