Yep Birmingham

Setting up of the Chapter was commenced in April 2018 and we continue to grow the membership and event attendance through YEP’s existing membership, sponsors and partners. As the fourth-most visited city in the UK by foreign visitors, Birmingham is a major international commercial centre, ranked as a gamma+ world city by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network; and an important transport, retail, events and conference hub. Its six universities make it the largest centre of higher education in the country outside London and its major cultural institutions – including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Birmingham Royal Ballet, the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, the Library of Birmingham and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts – enjoy international reputations. With Millions of pounds worth of investment being committed to impressive regeneration projects all around Birmingham, along with the city hosting the Commonwealth Games in 2022, Birmingham is an exciting region and the YEP chapter is at the heart of the West Midlands.
