Yeti Distillery Private Limited (YDPL) was revived as a whisky producer in 2003, from Shankar Distillery established by Mr. Santa Kumar Shrestha (SKS) during the 1970s. The company changed its name to YDPL in 2003. From 2015, YDPL entered the market of premium segments through its flagship blends - Old Durbar Whisky and 8848 Vodka. It is now one of Nepal's leading liquor company with an outstanding portfolio of premium brands. YDPL is a high performing business, sensitive to consumer, community, and societal needs. YDPL sales and marketing is led by Mr. Ravi K.C, the current Chairman, who has three decades of experience in the field, with stakes in FMCG, distilling unit and brewery.
