YMCA Cornwall is an independent charity providing supported housing for vulnerable young people aged 16 – 24 who are homeless, sofa-surfing, rough sleeping and at risk. We provide supported accommodation and individualised support to help young people move towards independent living, overcome challenges that are holding them back, remain in education and find employment. We provide free, confidential and independent housing advice to young people who find themselves homeless, sofa-surfing, rough sleeping, or need to leave home. As an independent charity we rely on donations and grants to fund much of our work. In Penzance we have a coffee shop and room hire which are a social enterprise; profits are reinvested to help young people.
