About Us Young Peace Activists is about promoting peace and uniting people through encouraging and inspiring them to be actively involved in the creation of peace. MISSION Our mission is to inspire and encourage all individuals (especially the youth) in promoting peace and unity. We specifically aim at inspiring the youth of today to become better leaders of tomorrow. VISION The organisation’s vision is to ensure the existence of peace in the near future whereby everyone is united as one. Our vision is inspired by the hatred, crime, oppression and poverty that take place around us which then mostly lead to suicidal thought and practices thus leaving only pain behind. As such, we aim at tackling such issues through acting as the platform that provide motivational talks, make information accessible to people and helping communities by doing voluntary work. To create an environment whereby each and every individual feels loved, respected and honored. ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW Founded in 2013, July the 27th, by Mr Justice Sambo in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga Province, Young Peace Activists is an upcoming organization that aims to bring peace in the world by inspiring and encouraging the people to become better leaders of tomorrow. It was founded under this name: Acornhoek Peace Movement. His intentions of starting the organization were inspired by the Global Youth Peace Summit he attended in July, 2013. Uniting young members of the world was the key factor. He saw this as an opportunity to come back to South Africa and impact on people’s lives. Young Peace Activists will be establishing some projects in the near future. These projects will be in promotion of unity amongst people. They will include, amongst others, development of youth through projects which will allow their involvement in the building of a better world, community work etc.
