Younger Conservation Ltd

We carry out services in textile conservation and collections care, offering experience and a range of skills. We conserve both modern and historic textiles, including: tapestry, embroideries, carpets, rugs, furnishing textiles, banners, costume, upholstery fabrics, lace and ecclesiastical embroidery; and work on projects with other conservators and contractors. The business has been established since 2001 and operates from the Perth area. Sophie Younger, Director, is accredited by the Institute of Conservation (ICON) in both textile and preventive conservation, and has over 25 years working experience. Our clients include Historic Environment Scotland, Glasgow Museums, National Trust for Scotland, The Royal Collection Trust, Historic Houses and many private individuals.
