Youngistaan Foundation

Youngistaan Foundation is an NGO based in India that works to improve the lives of the most underprivileged and disadvantaged people through programs that address: hunger, youth nurturing, homelessness, poverty, education inequity, gender inequality, taboos on menstruation, emergency responses, animal rights, capacity building, cyber crimes, the climate crisis and more issues. All the programs are connected to 7 UN SDGs. Registered in 2014, Youngistaan Foundation has enabled over young people to connect with other socially aware individuals and effect real change in our neighbourhoods and communities through our programs as volunteers. We have partnered with over 100+ organisations to implement our projects and programs such as Telangana State Police, UNICEF, Telangana State Innovation Cell, GHMC, Telangana Education Dept, US Consulate in Hyderabad, Synchrony, Dr Reddy's, Wipro and lots more. The organization's beneficiaries include preschoolers, children, adolescent boys and girls, youth, the homeless, senior citizens, the trans community, migrants, and more. About the Founder: Arun Daniel Yellamaty Kumar is a versatile journalist, social entrepreneur, and activist known for his diverse expertise. With nearly seven years in journalism, he has covered a wide range of topics and interviewed numerous prominent figures. Arun's educational background spans journalism, political science, social work, event management, climate change, and design thinking. He has shared his insights on esteemed platforms like TEDx and Josh TV and is a compelling speaker who has addressed audiences at over 500 colleges, workplaces, and media houses. Arun's remarkable efforts and the impactful work of Youngistaan Foundation have garnered recognition from various private and government bodies, including prestigious awards and accolades, including Global Citizen Award presented in Washington, DC.
