We are a collective of naturopathic doctors providing doula support, education and individualized, expert care from bump to baby. Our team consists of experts in all fields of perinatal wellness from pregnancy care to lactation support to infant sleep to postpartum recovery. Why our clients chose us: 1) Not your average doulas Everyone on our team is a Naturopathic Doctor, that means your doula or lactation consultant has extensive medical training and a scope of practice well above and beyond that of a typical doula. We have options in our tool kit that aren't available to most doulas and because we are regulated health professionals most of our services are covered by insurance if you have an extended benefits plan. We even direct bill most insurance companies! 2) Our support is tailored to your needs Your family is unique, and your birth experience should be too! We don't have doula packages because we take the time to figure out exactly what kind of support you need. That could mean prenatal classes, a sleep consult, an in home postpartum visit to discuss your recovery. From bump to baby, we are here to support you every step of the way. 3) We come to you YDD doesn't have a physical office space, all of our care is provided either virtually or in your home. We love this because we can see your space and give you tips on labour coping techniques or infant sleep set up that's individual to you. Our clients also love that they don't have added travel with a newborn!
