For almost 30 years, I’ve successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in class-action and individual lawsuits. I also chair the American Bar Association National Institute on Class Actions. It’s the nation’s largest and most prominent non-partisan class-action program for lawyers, judges, and professors. I’m also passionate about educating our next generation of lawyers. That’s why I teach class-action litigation at the University of Michigan Law School and taught complex litigation at Columbia Law School. I also write a column on civil justice for Law360, a hugely popular legal daily, and have published articles in countless other publications. So now you might be saying, “OK, Danny, I’m convinced you know your stuff. But why did you create this website?” I believe there’s a societal bias against access to justice where people who need justice the most often get it the least. My goal is to make justice more accessible to people who don’t know, can’t find, or can’t pay for lawyers.
