Erika, a dedicated, compassionate and highly experienced physiotherapist, began her professional journey in 2008 after graduating from the University of South Australia. Throughout her career, she worked in various industries across South Australia, constantly striving to support individuals in leading fulfilling lives despite facing significant challenges. Erika's approach has always been rooted in kindness, support, and empathy, as she firmly believes in the power of these qualities to impact people's lives. Erika's commitment to the field extended beyond her clinical practice. For several years, she served as a clinical educator at the University of South Australia, where she took great pleasure in guiding students and helping them become therapists. Erika focused on empowering students to recognize their strengths and contribute to shaping the future of therapy. Her passion for education and mentorship left a lasting impression on the aspiring therapists she worked with. In addition to her teaching role, Erika worked many years as a physiotherapist at a prominent tertiary hospital in Adelaide. Her specialization revolved around complex discharge planning, particularly on NDIS clients who either acquired a disability or experienced a progression of their existing disability while in the hospital. Erika dedicated herself to assisting these individuals in transitioning from the hospital to the community, ensuring they received the necessary support to lead fulfilling lives despite challenging circumstances. In 2021, Erika transitioned into working within the community, leveraging her expertise to provide compassionate and empathetic care to people with various disabilities. This marked the beginning of her business, initially known as Your Physio SA. As demand for her services grew, Erika expanded her practice to encompass a broader range of therapeutic disciplines, rebranding her business as Your Therapy SA.
