YourTable connects people together through their shared interests in food and work industry. The “LinkedIn for food” if you will. At the heart of what we do, we are solving the problem of people eating alone because sometimes there is no other choice. In fact, statistics show the numbers for Canadians are as high as 58% who eat lunch alone, and 37% who eat dinner alone. People who eat alone are 85% more likely to have depression and 23% more likely to develop obesity. Depression costs the Canadian economy $32.3 billion a year due to lost productivity. YourTable connects people to eat together through their shared interests, with the goal of contributing to their productivity and overall happiness. Our dream is that nobody has to eat alone anymore. YourTable users are matched with others who share mutual interests. People can connect with others regardless of their background, title or social status, over a great dining experience.
