Youth For Next Step หรือ เครือข่ายเยาวชนพัฒนาศักยภาพ เป็นองค์กรพัฒนาด้านเยาวชนที่มีความเชื่อว่า "จิตอาสา" สามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงสังคมได้ และแก่แนวคิดหลักในการทำให้สังคมเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างยั่งยืนนั่นคือ "การเปลี่ยนแปลงตนเอง" Youth For Next Step จึงได้พยายามคิดค้น พัฒนา ปรับปรุงหลักสูตรและกิจกรรม โดยใช้กระบวนการของ "จิตอาสา" เป็นเครื่องมือขับเคลื่อนการเปลี่ยนแปลงสังคม โดยมุ่งเน้นให้ความสำคัญตั้งแต่กระบวนการของการพัฒนาคน ชุมชน สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างเป็นองค์รวม และให้ความสำคัญกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงหรือพัฒนาตัวเองควบคู่ไปกับการพัฒนาศักยภาพ จึงเรียกได้ว่า การพัฒนาเยาวชนจะต้องมุ่งการพัฒนาที่รอบด้านให้เป็นทั้ง "คนเก่ง ดี และมีจิตอาสา" นั่นเอง
