Since 2008, YouthTruth has partnered with districts, charter networks and schools nationwide to elevate student voice. Our approach is straightforward and powerful: Listen. Learn. Improve. We have administered more than 4 million student, staff and family surveys in nearly 40 states. Our data-driven insights have helped schools and districts determine staffing levels, examine instructional effectiveness and measure student belonging. Our research-backed surveys empower educators to understand what students are experiencing on issues such as mental health and chronic absenteeism — and take meaningful action. YouthTruth is not a typical edtech company. We are a mission-driven nonprofit, founded as an initiative of The Center for Effective Philanthropy on the belief that students are the experts of their own experiences. The research is clear – improving school culture not only makes young people feel valued and heard, it leads to stronger outcomes.
