Founded in 2016 by Shannon Maldonado, YOWIE has evolved from a design/lifestyle shop into a boutique hotel and café. Opened in 2023, the hotel features thirteen individually designed rooms filled with local artwork, curated books, and handmade objects. In 2024, we were named one of Travel + Leisure’s 100 Best New Hotels in the World. The YOWIE brand which is rooted in community and design is known for its workshops, pop-ups, and creative collaborations, Located in Queen Village, near Head House Square, the hotel’s entrance is on American Street, with the shop and Forin café on the ground floor.
